This was the final build and the pride and joy of the space. I will reupholster the arm rest at some point. I used excess acoustic foam and have come to realize that it’s not really good at retaking its form after being compressed. It is also not as firm as I would prefer. Finishing work was a challenge, but as most of the surface area is hidden inside the rack bay or under the mixing board it was fairly manageable. Given the huge number of precise angle cuts and the deceivingly complex assembly, I count this as a resounding success and a validation of the copious hurdles and despair I overcame in earlier builds.
